It is frequently used for removing rust and limescale, replacing the traditional method of hydrochloric acid which is more volatile and corrosive. APPLICATION :
Plastic Industry: Sulfamic acid used as a curing agent and acts faster than organic acid.
Dyes & pigments: Sulfamic acid is used for removal of excess of nitrites in diazotization reaction. If Nitrides present in the process water of effluents can also be removed by using Sulphamic acid.
Detergents: Sulfamic acid is used in Sulfation & sulfamation of many organic compounds.
Catalyst: Sulfamic acid is used as a catalyst in the esterification process
Sweeteners: Sulfamic acid is used in the manufacturing of artificial sweeteners
Descaling: It is a super efficient descaling agent & used for a variety of industrial
equipment and domestic appliances like heat exchanger, water jackets, cooling tower, condenser, coils and other cooling systems.
Chlorine Stabilization: Sulfamic acid is used for stabilizing chlorine in swimming pools and cooling towers and as a bleaching additive in Paper and Pulp Industries.
