p-Xylene is a fragrant hydrocarbon in view of benzene with two methyl substituents with the concoction recipe C8H10 or C6H4(CH3)2. The "p" remains for para, distinguishing the area of the methyl bunches as opposite each other.
P-XYLENE is a dreary watery fluid with a sweet scent. Less thick than water. Insoluble in water. Bothering vapour. The point of solidification is 56°F.
