Sodium hypochlorite is an inorganic substance with the chemical formula NaClO. It is a kind of hypochlorite. It is the most common "chlorine" bleach in household washing. It is used in water purification, as a disinfectant, pulp bleaching, and in the pharmaceutical industry.
