An emulsion is a temporarily stable mixture of immiscible fluids, such as oil and water, achieved by finely dividing one phase into very small droplets. Common emulsifier can be oil suspended in waterier aqueous phase or water suspended in oil.
Demulsifier or Emulsion breakers used for removing oil from wastewater stream and removing soild from the sludge. In petrochemical, natural oils & water gas mixer it is also used for removing water.
