Ammonia is a colorless liq solution with a very strong odor. It is lighter than air with density being 0.589 times that of air. It liquefies easily because of strong hydrogen bonds. it boils at -33'C(-27.94F)and freezes to white crystals at -77'C(-107.86F). Ammonia solution is basic in nature (11.6 pH level). It is highly soluble in water. Ammonia doesn't burn easily nor is a supporter of combustion.
It burns with a pale yellowish-green flame in oxygen. Ammonia is amphoteric in nature (being a strong base and a weak acid).
