Activated Alumina Balls:
RXSOL activated alumina balls are extensively used in the petrochemical and chemical industries. These balls are highly capable of adsorbing moisture and water. The balls are produced by heating aluminium oxide at a high temperature. The activated balls are generally odourless, non-toxic, insoluble in water, and even tasteless.
Activated Alumina Balls Used for Water Purification:
In the water purification process, the alumina balls absorb fluoride and arsenic from water. During the purification process, the water is passed through a bed of activated alumina under high pressure. Therefore, the arsenic content in the water gets adsorbed by activated balls, and at the end, the processed water is collected for further uses.
