Hydrochloric Acid: U.N.NO 1789.Chemical Formula HCL. 

Packing: 40 Kgs HDPE Jars or 250 Kgs HDPE Drums.

Physical Property: Clear water white liquid having Sp.Gr.at 25oc - 1.14 to l.16

Chemical Property: Acidity as HCL 30-32% Sulphate as H2SO4 not more than 0.1% Iron as (FE) 0.002 to 0.003%

 

 

Sulphuric Acid: U.N.NO 1830. Chemical Formula H2SO4. 

Packing:40 Kgs HDPE Jars.

Physical Property:Slightly milky white clear liquid Having Sp.Gr. 1.82  to 1. 83 at 25 0c. 

Chemical Property:Acidity as H2SO4 98.5 +/- 0.5% Ash residue on ignition % by weight 0.02 Iron as (FE) ppm 50. Arsenic as (As203) ppm 20. Lead as (Pb) ppm 20. Chlorine as (Cl) ppm 50. Oxidisable impurities as (SO2) by wt. 0.004.

Nitric Acid: U.N.NO 2632. Chemical Formula HNo3. 

Packing: 30 Kgs & 40 Kgs HDPE Jars.

Physical property : Clear liquid giving white to yellowish fumes.

Chemical Property: Nitric Acid 68%. Acidity as HN03 58% +/- 0.5%. Nitrogen Oxide as (HN02) % by Mass Max. 0.1. Chloride as (Cl) % by Mass Max. 0.002. Sulphate as (H2SO4) % by Mass Max. 0.005. Residue in ignition % by Mass Max.0.05. Sp.Gr. 1.40.

Chemical property:Nitric Acid 58%. Acidity as HNO3 60% +/- 0.5%. Nitrogen Oxide as (HNO2) % by Mass Max. 0.5. Chloride as (Cl) % by Mass Max. 0.03. Residue in ignition % by Mass Max. 0.1. Heavy metal as Pb pass the test.

 

 

Acetic Acid Glacial: U.N.NO 2789. Chemical Formula - CH3COOH 

Packing:35 Kgs HDPE Jars.

Physical Property: Clear Colorless Liquid, Pungent odor. Having Sp.Gr 1.04 at 25oC. Crystallising point 16oC.

Chemical Property: Acidity as CH3COOH contain 99.5% +/- 0.25%. Residue on Evaporation 0.005% Max. Acetaldehyde 0.025%. Formic acid 0.15% Max. Iron as (Fe) > 2 PPM. Heavy metal as (Pb) > 5 PPM. Chloride & Sulphate > 15 PPM.

 

 

Phosphoric Acid (Ortho): U.N.NO 1805. Chemical Formula H3PO4  

Packing:30 & 50 Kgs HDPE Jars.

Physical Property: Colorless, Odorless, and Sparking Liquid Sp.Gr. 1.75 at 25oC.

Chemical Property: Acidity as H3PO4 85% +/- 0.5%. Substance Reducing Permanganate 0.001%. Chloride as (Cl) > 0.001%. Nitrate as (NO3) > 0.0005%. Silicate as (SiO2) > 0.025%. Sulphate as (SO4) > 0.002%. Lead as (Pb) > 0.001%. Potassium as (K) > 0.02%. Sodium as (Na) > 0.05%.

WATER TREATMENT SALTS

USES: Sizing paper & pH Control in paper industries, clarifying agent for fats, oils, sewage & water. Mordant for dyeing water proofing agent in concrete. 

 

Alum:(Ammonia Alum) for water treatment. Chemical Formula Al2(SO4)3 (NH4) 2SO4 24H20 

Packing: 25 Kgs & 50 Kgs HDPE Laminated bags with thick inner liner.

Physical Property: White transparent Glass types Lumps. Crystals & Powder.

Chemical Property: Water insoluble l% max., Iron Compound 0.2%, max Aluminum content as Al203 15 to 16%, pH of 5% solution 2 to 2.5 

 

 

Ferric Alum: (Aluminum Sulphate) Chemical Formula Al2 (SO4)3 18H20 

Packing: 25 Kgs & 50 Kgs HDPE Laminated bags with thick inner liner.

Physical Property: Slight yellowish lumps.

Chemical Property: Water insoluble 2% max. Iron compound 0.5% max. Aluminum contents as Al203 15 to 16%, pH of 5% solution 2 to 2.5

 

 

Non Feric Alum: (Aluminum Sulphate): Chemical Formula Al2 (SO4)3 18H20 

Packing: 25 Kgs & 50 Kgs HDPE Laminated bags with thick inner liner.

Physical Property: White lumps or powder.

Chemical Property:Water insoluble 1 % max. Iron compound 0.1 % max. Aluminum contents as A1203 16 to 17 %, pH of 5% solution 2 to 2.5

 

 

Alumina Hydrate: (Aluminium Hydroxide): Chemical Formula Al (OH)3   U.N.No.2463.  

Packing: 50 Kgs HDPE Laminated bags with thick inner liner.

Physical Property: White Powder containing 4 to 5% moisture. Mesh size 200.

Chemical Property: % of material as Al(OH)3 is 94-95%. Na2O contain 0.25 to 0.30%. Silica as SI02 - 0.012 to 0.015%. Fe2O3 0.010 to 0.015%.

Uses: Glass, Ceramics, Iron-free aluminum and aluminum salts.

 

 

Ammonium Hydroxide: (Liquor Ammonia) NH40H 

Packing: In HDPE Carboys & Drums.

Property: Colorless liquid, Strong odor, Concentration of Solution range up to about 30% ammonia.

Chemical Property: Sp.Gr. 0.9 having strong smell of ammonia, Alkaline in nature pH.9-10.

Uses: Textiles manufacturing of rayon rubber, fertilizers, ammonia soaps, fireproofing wood, ink manufacturing etc.

 

 

 

BARIUM SALTS: 

 

Barium Chloride: U.N.NO l564. Chemical Formula BaCI2 2H20 

Packing:50 Kgs HDPE bags with thick inner liner.

Physical Property: It is colorless powder or crystals. Soluble in water & Insoluble in alcohol.

Chemical Property: % of BaCl2 Contain in powder 99 to 102%. Matter insoluble in water 1% by mass max. 0.1%. Iron as (Fe) mass max 0.002. pH of aqueous solution 5.0 to 8.0.

Uses: In textile Dyeing, Manufacturing of white leather & Boiler compound, Mfg. of other barium compounds such as Hydroxide, Chromate, Sulphate etc.

 

 

Barium Hydroxide:Chemical Formula Ba (OH)2 8H20 

Packing: 50 Kgs HDPE bags with thick inner liner.

Physical Property: White powder soluble in dilute acids slightly soluble in water.

Chemical Property: Assay (as Ba(OH)2 8H20) % by mass min. 95. Iron as (Fe) mass min 0.003. pH of aqueous solution ranges between 7.5 to 9.0.

Uses: manufacturing of oil & grease additives, purifying agent for Caustic Soda, Refining edible oils.

 

 

Barium Nitrate: U.N.NO 1446. Chemical Formula Ba (NO3) 2 

Packing: 50 Kgs HDPE bags with thick inner liner.

Physical Property: Lustrous, White crystal, Soluble in water, insoluble in Alcohol.

Chemical Property: % of material content as Ba(NO3)2 mass min. 99.00. pH of 5% solution 5.5 to 7.5. Moisture % by mass min 0.5 Sulphur nil.

Uses: Pyrotechnics (gives green light), ceramic glazes, Electronics.

 

 

Barium Chromate: Chemical Formula BaCrO4   

Packing: 50 Kgs HDPE bags with thick inner liner.

Physical Property: Heavy yellow crystalline powder insoluble in water Sp.Gr.4.5

Chemical Property: % of material content as BaCrO4 is 97.5 to 98.5%. Water-soluble Sulphates & Chloride as SO4 & Cl % by mass max. 0.1. Matter soluble in water % by mass max 0.5 oil absorption 8 to 20.

Uses: Safety matches, Pigment in Paints, Metal Primers, For Explosive & Pyrotechnic industry.

 

 

Barium Sulphate (Precipitated): Chemical Formula BaSO4  

Packing: 50 Kgs HDPE bags with thick inner liner.

Physical Property: Precipitated white heavy inorganic powder. Tasteless, Non-toxic & Noncombustible. Refractive index 1.6 to 1.7. Particle Size Passing 300 Mesh. 

Chemical Property: % of material as BaSO4 mass max 98% Volatile matter % by mass max (moisture) 0.5 oil absorption (Ml / 100gm) 20 +/- 3 matter soluble in (NaCl) as % by mass max 0.5. pH 6-8. Relative density 4.45 

Uses: It is called as BLANK FIXE It is used in Paint, Epoxy Adhesive, Chemical resistance cement, Water proofing compound, Crayons & many other uses.

We can give very fine powder of upt 2 micron

Barium Sulphate (Natural Ore): Chemical Formula BaSO4.It is known as Barites.

Chemical Property: % of material as BaSO4 97%. Iron as (Fe) % mass max 0.10 to 1.5. Particle size 200 to 300 mesh. Sp.Gr 4 - 4.5. Aluminum as (Al) % by mass max. 0.10. Silica as (SiO2) % by mass max 2.0 to 6.0. Relative density at 27oC min 4.15. matter soluble in water % by mass max 0.02. 

Uses: Off color material used for weighting mud in oil drilling.White color material used for paper coating paints Filler and delustrant textiles. In battery plate expanders.

SODIUM SALTS

 

Sodium Sulphide (60-62%): Iron Free Chemical Formula Na2S 

 

Packing: 25 kgs HDPE Laminated bags. With thick inner liner. 

Physical Property:Yellow or Saffron flakes.

Chemical Property: % of material as Na2S & NaHS contain 58 to 62. Excess alkali nil, Reducing compound other than Na2S & NaHS not more than 1%. Iron & aluminum compound not more than 0.05%. Sodium Sulphate nil. Sodium Chloride nil. Water insoluble less than 0.2%.

Uses: Sulphur dyes, Paper pulp, Photographic reagent, & analytical reagent. Used as reducing agent in dyes & drugs intermediate. Tanneries.

Same material in 52% ti 55% grade is also available.

 

 

Sodium Silicate: Chemical Formula Na2O SiO2 

Packing: 50 Kgs HDPE Jars.

Physical Property: Solution cloudy or clear & Varying from high fluid to extreme viscosity.

Chemical Property: % of Na2O contain in active form 48.6 to 51.5. density 2.61 g/cc or 75 ib/cu ft. Soluble in water, Precipitated by acids & by alkaline earth & heavy metal ions. pH of 1% solution 12.6. Non toxic Non combustible. Gels form with acids between pH 3 to 9. Toddle degree of material, as 2Na2O SiO2 is 114 to 115. Viscosity ranges from 0.4 to 600,000 poise f.p. Slightly lower than water. Miscible with some polyhydric alcohols.

Uses: Catalysts and silica gels, soaps and detergents, adhesives, water treatment bleaching and sizing of textiles and paper pulp, binder for abrasive wheels chemical equipment lining.

Sodium Meta Silicate: Chemical Formula Na2SiO3 

 

Packing: 50 Kgs HDPE laminated bags with thick inner liner.

Physical Property: A crystalline silicate pH of 1% solution 12.6. non-toxic, non-combustible.

Chemical Property: Ductless white granules. m.p.1089oc. total Na2O content 51.5% total Na2O in active form 48.6%. density 2.61 g/cc or 75 ib/cu ft. Soluble in water precipitated by acids & by alkaline earth & heavy metal ions.

Uses: Laundry, diary and metal cleaning, floor cleaning base for detergent formulations bleaching aid, deinking paper.

 

 

Sodium Hypochlorite Solution: Chemical Formula NAOCl. 

Packing: In HDPE Drums & Jeerycans.

Physical Property: Appearance yellowish green clear solution having pungent smell of chlorine.

Chemical Property: Available Chlorine 10% +/- 1% excess sodium hydroxide. 1.15% Sp.Gr at 25oC 1.11 - 1.12 insoluble impurities absent. Unstable in air unless mixed with Sodium Hydroxide. Strong oxidizing agent usually stored and used in solution decomposed by hot water m.p.18oC.

Uses: Textile bleaching, Laundry bleaching, Aqua food processing, Disaffection of drinking water, Swimming pool, Treatment of sewage effluent and many others.

     
Sodium hydro sulphide (nash)
